Tsunade, the legendary ninja and leader of Konohagakure (Hidden Leaf Village), plays a significant role in Naruto's life. Initially, Tsunade is introduced as a skilled kunoichi and one of the "Legendary Sannin" (three exceptional ninjas). When Naruto meets her, he's a young genin (ninja in training) seeking her help to become stronger.
