The movie revolves around the story of a small town in Maharashtra, where a series of mysterious and gruesome murders take place. The main character, Ganesh (played by Shreyas Talpade), is a TV reporter who comes to the town to investigate the murders. As he digs deeper, he discovers that the murders are linked to an ancient temple in the town, which is believed to be haunted by the ghost of a woman named Chandramukhi.
