The movie follows two separate storylines that eventually intersect. The first storyline introduces Stuntman Mike, a stunt driver who targets young women with his customized cars. He claims that his cars are "death-proof," meaning they can withstand any crash. The second storyline introduces a group of young women, including Zoe (Vanessa Ferlito), Amber (Rosario Dawson), and Cherry (Daryl Hannah), who become Mike's targets.
