The series follows the story of Nobita Nobi, a kind-hearted but clumsy fourth-grader who often finds himself in trouble. One day, his great-great-grandson, a robotic cat named Doraemon, travels back in time from the 22nd century to help Nobita. Doraemon is equipped with an array of futuristic gadgets and tools from his native 22nd century, which he uses to aid Nobita in his daily struggles.
