Soorma is based on the life of former Indian field hockey player, Sandeep Singh. The film follows his journey from being a young boy with a passion for hockey to becoming a renowned player. Sandeep's life takes a dramatic turn when he contracts a rare disease that leaves him bedridden for four years. Despite the setbacks, he perseveres and achieves his dream of representing India in the international hockey arena.
