A woman named Nisha asked if Rhea could pull the segment where her father practiced apologies; he had been in an accident and the family needed the clip as evidence of his voice before memories blurred. Rhea watched the footage again. The man’s voice was thin with shame and tenderness, counting, stumbling over vowels. The camera captured the exact way his mouth pursed when he tried something new and failed. It felt almost sacramental.
